About me
Shireen Ghorbani is the president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Association of Utah and Planned Parenthood Action Council of Utah. Shireen is a tireless advocate for patient’s access and rights who joined PPAU in 2023 as the chief corporate affairs officer. Prior to her experience at Planned Parenthood, Shireen was a director of community health at Intermountain Health where she focused on reducing Utah’s uninsured population, school-based clinics, and nutrition security. Shireen served on the Salt Lake County Council as Covid-19 hit our community. She was a tireless advocate for an equity driven response. Prior to that, Shireen ran for the United States House of Representatives in Utah’s 2nd congressional district.
