About me
Sean is the Chief Executive Officer and founding partner of WoodSyn, LLC, leading the effort to launch an advanced manufacturing company producing a new category of economically and environmentally sustainable construction materials for the attainable residential and commercial building markets. Under Sean’s leadership, WoodSyn is creating permanent manufacturing jobs, restoring forests, and providing economic and social value to rural communities.
Sean is an executive leader with over 25 years of experience creating business value through the design, development, and execution of technology-based products for national and international organizations.
Sean is co-Primary Investigator for a U.S. Department of Energy ARPA-E funded research grant to produce engineered dimensional material with enhanced mechanical properties from cellulose nano material and low-carbon cement composites. The work was performed in collaboration with researchers at Oregon State University, Purdue University, and the University of Maine.
Prior to WoodSyn, LLC, Sean was the founder and CEO of iTether Technologies, a digital patient engagement solution that enables care coordination for members across all treatment levels and domains. Sean has extensive experience building collaborative partnerships that foster interoperability between justice, health, and social domains, developing strategic plans, and developing innovative products.
Sean is an active member in the Home Builders Association of Central Arizona, the National Association of Home Builders, AZ CleanTech, Global FutureCem, and Arizona Forward. Sean is a longtime volunteer who holds leadership roles in organizations such as the Arizona Technology MedTech Committee (Chairman), Silent Witness Phoenix (Executive Board), Challenger Little League (Director), school boards, and HOAs. Sean currently serves as Board President for Mentoring & Inspiring Kids in Development, MIKID.org , the largest provider of mental health services to children and their families in Arizona.
